State and Federal Custody
The Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections handles information for sentenced state prisoners and community supervision. Louisiana VINE supports person lookup and custody notifications. A person in federal prison belongs in the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator, while immigration detention belongs in the ICE Online Detainee Locator. These systems do not replace APSO’s local jail roster.
